These have the most large displays HTC one Max packs up with display of 5.9 inch 1080x1920 super LCD3 with a good pixel density of 373 pixels. On the other hand Sony xperia Z ultra has 6.4 inch display 1080p LCD3 with a pixel density of 344 but the display colors doesn't appear more sharper.
The review in display moves good to HTC one Max because the HTC one Max has high quality resolution display.
Memory:
As the memory is the most prominent feature, HTC one Max is available with both 16 and 32 GB of internal memory and also has the micros SD card expansion up to 64 GB, moving on to Sony xperia Z ultra it is available only with the 16 GB of internal memory and has the micro SD card expansion up to 64 GB.
As the Sony Z ultra is available with only 16 GB where as in HTC one Max has 16/32, this points to move again towards HTC one Max.
Processor:
Sony Xperia Z ultra has the powerful processor of the Qualcomm’s might snapdragon 800 chipset with the 2.2 GHz krait 400 processor and Adreno 330 GPU, as on the HTC one Max has snapdragon 600 soc with 1.7 GHz krait 300 processor with Adreno 320 GPU. Both of these phablets have 2 GB of RAM
