I use OpenWRT on WR841N WiFi Router as my primary and DD-WRT on WR841N WiFi Router as my secondary router. My secondary Router is connected to primary via WiFi and it is used as a Universal Repeater (Rebroadcasts through WiFi and LAN).
Note:
- There might be some WiFi Routers which available in under Rs. 1000 INR ( $15 US Dollars or something like $20 US Dollars ) at online stores as Amazon or Flipkart, etc. but I'm not going to cover all of those...
- I will be covering/reviewing only those WiFi Routers which promises good connectivity and security with a decent price. These Wifi Routers are also developers friendly, which means you can upgrade your WiFi Router firmware to custom firmware like OpenWRT / DD-WRT.
- Upgrading WiFi Router stock firmware to OpenWRT firmware / DD-WRT firmware will cancel your WiFi Router warranty.
- Before flushing or altering your router firmware / configuration make sure double checked the Hardware version on Wifi Router.
