Display:
Both smartphones have 1080p resolution, which will be a very sharp display, though the Galaxy S4 is technically a bit denser. The Galaxy S4 provides you 92 percent of screen area which is better but the LG G2 has persistent onscreen navigation buttons which is very advantageous.

Software:
Both the smartphones run on Android 4.2.2, and each also has its own Android experience. Here LG company has given one very cool feature this time around: KnockOn lets you turn your screen on or off by tapping twice on the screen.
RAM:
The both smartphones have 2 GB of RAM.
Processor:
Among all the LG mobiles, the LG G2 is the first of smartphone to roll out with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor in 2013's CPU. But both phones provide much more applications that all which run very fast.

Camera:
LG G2's camera has impressive resolution and also has an Optical Image Stabilization in it to help avoid the effects of camera shake. Here camera can be launched by double tapping on your display screen. While as in the S4 it is same as it’s all previous mobile. The camera of the both the mobiles is same that is of 13MP. In the secondary camera there is a little variation LG G2 has 2.1MP while the S4 has 1.9 MP.
Battery:
LG squeezed a very pretty high-capacity battery in the G2. Here the battery is much enough for a day while in the work or in play. It is not clear but battery capacity may move upto 3000 mAh, but S4 battery capacity is a bit less than G2.
Storage:
At present LG only lists a 32 GB model for the G2, but the company rumors mentions that there is also a 16 GB version. The LG G2 and Galaxy S4 are bit same in their internal memory storage, but major disappointing feature in LG G2 is that there is no external microSD slot in the it.
NFC:
Both phones have Near field Communication chips, which helps you to transfer the data like audio, video and many other.

Release dates:
The G2 will be rolling out widely within the next month or in two months. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been from April.
